Fantastic $30 Cartography Software Bundle Is a Virtual Tabletop GM's Dream

After a brief run earlier this year, the Map Making Mega Bundle is back for a limited time that lasts through early December. The Main Attraction

Basic Package

The cheapest bundle tier, at a minimum cost of $1, includes only four from the thirty-nine available products: Fantasy Overland Symbol Collection, Monster Token Pack 1, Castle Source Maps, and Source Maps: Cities!. This package suits cartographers who already have CC3+, but it does offer fresh fantasy design elements for landscape mapping, more than 750 monster tokens compatible with online gaming platforms, more than two dozen top-down castle layouts with 470 associated map tokens, eight fully mapped cities, and more than 70 urban floorplans.

Mid-Range Option

The eight-item bundle starting at fifteen dollars offers enhanced value through inclusion of permanent CC3+ access, Cartographer's Annual Vol 1, Tome of Ultimate Mapping, Isometric Cities Symbol Pack. The Annual represents the annual collection from ProFantasy's long-running monthly subscription service which includes a variety CC3+ add-ons including map packs and additional utilities. The Isometric Cities enables display cities with an extra dimension using angled views from all sides. Meanwhile, the Mapping Tome comprises 760 pages for beginners and "power users" alike, packed with guidance and instructions covering cartography techniques.

Every volume from the Annual series come with this bundle, alongside a slew of other resource and asset packs that can help users design entire planets or galaxies, or just go all-in on classic fantasy realm creation: battle maps, underground complexes, cities, and continents from almost any perspective. Users can also create character illustrations. For $30 as opposed to $15, the complete collection offers tremendous value, particularly for mappers with temporary CC3+ access and want to upgrade to lifetime. However, it's clearly more advantageous for map-making newbies since it includes the beginners' tutorials to facilitate learning. The sole limitation though you can redeem the deal on any platform, the software is only usable on Windows.

Philanthropic Aspect

As with other Humble Bundles, a portion of each sale goes to benefit a nonprofit.
